Nest for PC

Nest is designed to configure the products of the eponymous brand, perform remote control or simply connect to these products from an internet connection. The application uses sensors, algorithms and the location of your phone or tablet to give you complete remote control.

Why should use the Nest application?

The Nest product line is a collection of energy-saving, connected equipment and devices for home and business use. These are devices that can provide you with detailed information about your energy consumption, the reasons for a sudden rise or fall in energy consumption, tell you the nature of a hazard and send alerts from a surveillance camera, giving you concrete data on the operation of your Thermostat. In this way, you can obtain real-time trends and better understand the operation of your home or business.

The purpose of the Nest application is to centralize all this data, get reliable mobile notifications and control devices remotely. The application can use the location of your phone as well as built-in sensors to automatically perform appropriate actions, such as turning off the heater, turning on the camera when you leave, turning on or off a surveillance camera, analyzing the ambient temperature, changing the programming of a water heater... Nest is a free application available on mobile but not on a Windows PC. It includes several names (Nest Learning Thermostat, Nest Secure, Nest Protect...) depending on the type of device to use.
