Huawei HiLink is an application that allows you to manage your HiLink devices from your phone or tablet. It provides users with a more consistent management experience to control all HUAWEI HiLink kiosk devices.

What is Huawei HiLink (Mobile Wi-Fi) used for?

The free "Huawei HiLink" application for mobile, PC or Windows 10 tablet allows you to easily start and manage the router on your Mobile LTE wireless LAN. In just a few steps, you can connect your device to the Internet and start the application there. The first time you use it, you will be asked to change the login password. Afterwards, you will be able to access a multitude of functions. Specifically, the application allows the user to :

• Configure the Wi-Fi network and improve its performance;
• Adjust the network security and add a guest Wi-Fi network to the home network ;
• Share files offline;
• Manage connected devices, disconnect any device by simply pressing a button;
• Perform HiLink device diagnostics and upgrades;
• Enable Parental Controls and set limits on how long children can use the Internet;
• Save and back up files from your phone or tablet to the microSD card on your HiLink device.

In addition, the mobile wireless router is also used for sending and receiving SMS messages. To do this, you must first launch the Huawei HiLink application. Received and unread SMS messages are indicated by a small red number.
