Google Docs is a word processing software included as part of a free office software suite offered by Google as part of its Google Drive service. Create, view and edit documents from anywhere, from a phone, tablet or computer, even without an internet connection.
Google Docs is a free web application where documents and spreadsheets can be created, edited and stored online. The files can then be accessed from any computer connected to Internet. Choose from hundreds of fonts, add links, images and drawings, all for free. Changes are tracked by the user with a revision history showing the changes. Multiple people can work on the application at the same time. The position of an editor is highlighted with an editor-specific color and cursor. An authorization system regulates what users can do.
With Google Doc, you don't have to worry about losing your work, because everything is automatically saved when you type. In fact, documents are automatically saved as you type. You can even use the revision history to view previous versions of a document sorted by date. You can then search directly in Docs with Explorer. Google Doc also includes a web clipboard tool that allows users to copy and paste content between the application and other tools such as Google Sheets, Google Slides and Drawings.
