Xbox Game Bar is the official Windows 10 overlay developed by Microsoft. Installed by default, the Xbox Game Bar is always active in Windows 10. To call it in a game, just use the Windows + G shortcut.

Control your computer without leaving your game

Xbox Game Bar is the customizable game overlay integrated into computer control software and specially developed for Windows 10. Xbox Game Bar works with almost all PC games and gives you free and instant access to widgets for screen capture and sharing, music control. Once you open the Xbox Game Bar while playing on your Windows 10 computer, Xbox Game Bar displays an overlay with several settings at your disposal including :

• The ability to view the time, enable or disable other available widgets, and access Game Bar settings from the main widget ;
• The ability to take screenshots and record your game sessions with the Capture Widget ;
• Control individual audio channels without leaving your game with the Audio Widget.

The Performance widget displays information on resource usage, such as CPU (CPU), GPU (graphics card), RAM (memory) and FPS (frames per second). Performance is a kind of reduced task manager. Xbox Social is the widget that allows you to connect and chat with your friends, provided they are also on Windows 10 or Xbox.
