Komoot

Komoot is a route planning application, designed for lovers of mountain expeditions. The program is available on PCs running Windows, Smartwatch, Apple Watch connected devices, Smartphone and android. It can be used as an assistant, it allows you to measure the distance, the type of surface and the height of your route.

Komoot - a connected bike for your journey

You can download the program on Google Play. Then, after your installation, komoot will ask you to create a free account and will allow you to take advantage of a number of possibilities. This way you can save, edit your own routes and send your route from a PC to a phone.

Founded in Berlin by six friends in 2014, the program is available in two languages - German and English. It is based on data-rich OpenStreetMap, making it easier for you to discover new and interesting areas and sections.

Komoot users number around 10 million worldwide, including 2 million mountain bikers and 4 million cyclists. With Komoot, users create their own routes and can provide tips and recommendations. It also allows you to discover the highlights in an area or a circuit in your region.

In addition, the Komoot application also allows you to synchronize your route with GPS receivers. Once you have found a route that looks promising on Komoot, you can save it in your profile. You can select routes to synchronize with your watch in the web service or the Flow apps.

Each recorded route will appear in the Komoot Smartphone app, where you can use it with the voice-guided, step-by-step navigation. In addition, you can filter your more technical routes on Alpine Mountain Biking.

Then you can view other users' routes on the Komoot program by viewing the specific user profile, and then create your own routes. Or simply find the area you want to go to, click on a few highlights and you can create your own trip.
