CamHi

Camhi is a free application to manage and control one or more IP cameras. It runs on Android and Ios, but it is possible to install it on a Windows PC or a Mac.

How it works

Camhi was created by the developer Frank. It offers the possibility to view the videos taken by your IP camera live or delayed from your smartphone or on a computer. You can thus monitor your entire home or office even when you are not there. Simply install it on a smartphone, tablet or computer and set it up afterwards.

Camhi includes several features, including motion detection, live photo shooting, viewing video recorded on the phone's SD card, and PTZ control that lets you zoom and control the camera to change the viewing angle.

Installation and Setup

To download Camhi to your smartphone, simply go to Play Store or App Store depending on the phone and install it. On Windows, installing Camhi requires downloading an Android emulator such as BlueStacks Emulator. BlueStacks makes it easy to run an Android application on a PC. On a Mac, you can install Nox App Player, an Ios emulator. Once installed, you open the emulator, and need to access the Play Store. Then sign in to your Google account and search for Camhi and install it just like on a smartphone.

When the application is installed, connect the smartphone or PC to the camera's wifi, going to settings, the default wifi code is 01234567. Then open Camhi, and click on "add a camera". Link Camhi to the camera either by scanning its QR code or by entering the UID code on the back. Finally, last step, it is important to connect the camera to your home boxing gym. In Camhi, press the settings icon, then "wifi settings", select the name of your router and type your password to finish.
