Hooq is a reading application that allows its users to read stories in SMS format. The operation of Hooq is very simple. It allows readers to write their own chat stories, which can be shared with friends, or to write a group story in what is called a fantastic chat. Authors and business users submit these stories to the app with a disclaimer. It should be told as a conversation between characters in the form of a text message.

The app has both a free version that allows users to read a number of hoots (text in a story) every 30 to 40 minutes. The majority of stories are about 1,000 words, or about six minutes of reading. But as it grew, the app ordered more serialized stories told in chapter form.

Hooq brings together a wide variety of genres and stories. From science fiction to romance to eroticism, comedy and horror, all kinds of stories can be found on Hooq. In addition to that, Hooq also launches on-demand content called Hooq Originals. This paid version allows users to read stories unlimited.
