The Olympus Image Share smartphone app is designed to make it easy to take and share images between two devices. Thus, photos taken with an Olympus camera are easily transferred to another smartphone or computer. Olympus Image Share also allows you to make settings on the operating mode and control the zoom lenses of your smartphones.

Offered by Japanese manufacturer Olympus, the Olympus Image Share app is compatible with all current digital cameras that support WLAN. It allows you to import images from a camera to a smartphone, take photos on your remote Smartphone and configure Wi-Fi connection settings or shooting from your camera.

First, images captured with an Olympus brand camera can easily be imported to a compatible smartphone and shared to other media. You can also add artistic filters to imported photos, use your smartphone as a remote control for a compatible Olympus camera, or add GPS tags to photos. The connection can be established manually in Olympus Image Share using the WLAN menu of the mobile device or using a QR code. Then the application allows you to see the Live View of your camera on the screen of your smartphone and thus capture images remotely. Finally, with the setup feature, you can use the FlashAir card connection information to connect to the Wi-Fi setup screen on your notebook.
