i-Ready for Students

Schooling remains an essential and decisive step for the future. While previously learning methods were fairly simple, common and rudimentary, the development of digital technology has enabled teachers to apply a more individualized and closer approach. This is the case with i-Ready for Students.

What is the i-Ready for Students  application?

The i-Ready application was created in 2008 by Franck Ferguson, CEO of Curriculum Associates. It is an online program that helps teachers better meet the needs of each of their students.

As each student progresses at his or her own pace, the program first aims to diagnose the student's level by administering a placement test. Based on the answers, the teacher will be able to determine the level of each student. In this way the teacher will be able to provide instructions adapted to each need and according to their competence. What makes this application stand out is the fact that it keeps the students interested, as the lessons are interactive and fun.

To follow the mastery of each student, i-Ready measures the growth of each one by providing teachers with detailed portraits and evolution curves. In general, the program is based on reading and/or mathematics. I-Ready for Students is compatible with iOS10 and later systems. So you can download it from the App Store. The application is also available on Android, but unfortunately not yet compatible with Windows 10 PCs.
