Metrash2 is an application that offers residents of Qatar an easy way to access MOI services via their mobile devices. It is a user-friendly government E-services tool offering users a hassle-free experience.

A free service for Qatari nationals

Metrash2 is a practical application that allows Qatari nationals and residents to request and obtain more than 100 government e-services. According to the Ministry of Interior of Qatar, 6,333,541 services related to different departments of the Ministry of Interior have been provided via Metrash2 since its launch in December 2011 until November 2017. Services such as searching for official documents, creating and paying for individual/company exit permits, finding and settling traffic violations among many other services are available on this platform with a simple interface.

Metrash2 is available free of charge. All a user has to do is register for the service first, then download and install the application on their mobile device in a few quick and easy steps to enjoy it. Access to the service requires a mobile phone number registered in the applicant's name. You can activate the Metrash2 service via SMS or a self-service kiosk. Metrash2 also allows access to its services on two different smartphones. You can connect to the Metrash2 mobile application using your fingerprint stored on your smartphone. Once the Touch ID is activated from the Settings menu, the user is no longer required to enter his password each time he logs in and can synchronize his account on both devices.
