Mario Kart 8

Mario Kart 8 is a 2014 kart racing game developed and released by Nintendo for its home video game console Wii U in May 2014. Race with your friends or take on them in a revised combat mode on new battle courses.

A sequel to the Mario Kart series

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an upgraded version of the Nintendo Switch, released worldwide in April 2017. The game is based on the traditional gameplay of the Mario Kart series, in which characters from the Mario universe compete against each other in pedal go-karts, trying to hinder their opponents or improve their racing performance using a variety of tools found in the item boxes. In addition, the game features four different difficulties, which can be selected before starting the race to challenge players.

New features in Mario Kart 8 include anti-gravity racing, in which certain parts of a track can allow racers to drive over walls and ceilings. During these sections, players can collide with other racers or special bumpers to trigger a Spin Boost, giving them extra speed. Of course, the game has a multiplayer mode. In addition to local multiplayer, Mario Kart 8 supports online multiplayer with up to twelve players and voice chat outside of races, but voice chat is only available with online friends.
