ASUS Device Discovery

ASUS Device Discovery is the application that helps you determine the IP address of your Asus router in access point mode. It is an application that allows you to locate ASUS wireless routers under various work scenarios with appropriate configurations.

Finding the router's IP address via Device Discovery

The ASUS Device Discovery application helps you find all ASUS network devices, including routers, repeaters, IP cameras, access points and wireless media bridges on your network. You can use this application to obtain the IP addresses of the devices and log in to the device firmware page. The application also helps you configure your network to access routers and open the router configuration website.

From the application, you can open any browser on the Windows OS computer and go to the official ASUS website. You will then be able to enter the model name of your wireless router in the search field on the official site. Then click on the "Utilities" option on the product page and select the ASUS Device Discovery tool and download it. After connecting the computer to the router, you can click the Search button to find the IP address of your router/wireless access point. If you wish to uninstall Asus Device Discovery, you can find Device Discovery in the Start menu and right-click to uninstall. ASUS Device Discovery works with virtually all versions of Windows (Win XP, Win 7, Win8, and Win10).
